GMI contracted to furnish and Install glass and glazing for several hotels under the PIDC Energy Works program.
Turner Construction and Temple University award the Glass and Glazing package for a state of the art Science and Education Research Center to GMI and will be a part of the design build team.
GMI awarded the glass and glazing package for the Integrated Professional Education Complex @ the University of the Sciences and will be a part of the design efforts. This building is part of the Economic Growth Initiative under the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
GMI Contractors, Inc. was awarded the glass and glazing of the 12th and Chestnut streets project by Clemens Construction Company. It will consist of 112 units of luxury apartment space with retail at the ground level. This mixed use project is part of the revitalization of the 1100 block of Chestnut Street encompassing 250,000 SF with 3 floors of commercial retail and four floor of high -end apartments.

Scannapieco Development is building a new 26 story tower behind Independence Hall. GMI will be installing the glass and glazing for this ground-breaking project. With GMI already successfully completing 1706 Rittenhouse, Also a Scannapieco Development we were the obvious choice for this project and excited to continue our legacy contributing to the changing skyline of Philadelphia.
Four Philadelphia libraries will be undertaking extensive renovations under the 21st. Century Libraries Initiative and GMI will be installing commercial window systems in both the Tacony and Logan Public Libraries of Philadelphia. This project is unique in that it is being funded by numerous donations including a $25 Million dollar donation from William Penn Foundation. Being a part of a project that is taking an existing building and updating it to today’s needs and standards is special, and we feel privileged to be a part of something that students and families alike will enjoy and be able to enrich themselves for years to come.
